Game Recap: Pistons Stung by Hornets

After winning their previous four games the Pistons fell flat against the Hornets 104-84. In what was a huge chance to move up the standings in the unforgiving eastern conference the Pistons failed to get any type of momentum going throughout the game.

Kentavious Caldwell Pope led the Pistons in scoring with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Meanwhile the dynamic duo of Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond combined for only 13 points on 6-16 shooting on the night. It’s hard to win games when your two best players both have off nights like this one. Charlotte on the other hand, who were short handed with Al Jefferson out with an injury, received numerous contributions from its players. Namely Cody Zeller who led all scorers with 20, and Kemba Walker and Marvin Williams who had 14 a piece.

The Pistons look to get back to their winning ways Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies
